Workshop Leader: David Hemmings
Spend five days of photographing adult and juvenile Peregrine Falcons as they travel to and from the nest teaching the juveniles how to fly. Photograph the birds as they come and go with food for the young birds. See and photograph amazing aerial displays of passing the prey in mid air. Photograph the falcons in flight against beautiful blue ocean and sky backdrops. Watch and shoot as they perch on their rocky outcrops never too far from the nest.
Most of the shooting lends itself to hand holding your photo gear. The action can be fast and frantic so a quick reaction time is a must when tracking and shooting these beautiful falcons. David will be there beside you to make sure that you are using the proper settings and techniques for birds in flight that will allow you to capture some amazing images.
