Can you believe it's been fifteen incredible years since we embarked on our journey with Hemmings Photo Tours, our nature photography workshop and tour company?

We originally started as Natures Photo Adventures, but in 2015, we rebranded to become the Hemmings Photo Tours you know today!

When my wife Jennifer and I decided to dive into this venture, I had no idea what was in store. I had just lost my corporate job and was pondering my next steps. Having attended a few nature photography workshops that left much to be desired, I was convinced I could offer something far superior.

Turning 50 was my 'now or never' moment! I had to give the photo workshop business a shot. When I shared the idea with Jenn, her first response was, "Alright, show me your business plan."

Business plan?? I was just eager to take people on adventures to capture stunning wildlife. Jenn wasn't impressed initially.

But I crafted the business plan. My only concern was that turning my passion into a career might dampen my enthusiasm for it.

Fast forward to today, and our business has thrived for fifteen years! My love for nature photography has only grown stronger.
